Somebody drew this.

A filename in Polish, five handles, two archives and three blockchains — reconstructed from what the internet kept, and graded on how sure any of it is.

01 · The premiseThe fees don’t come here.

$WOJAK is a pump.fun launch, and pump.fun pays creator fees on volume. Normally those land with whoever pressed the button. Here they are pointed at the wallet recovered at the end of this file.

He has not been contacted. He has not agreed to anything. He does not know this exists. That is rather the point — the coin is a delivery mechanism, and the address either receives or it doesn’t.

if he ever moves it, everyone will see.
02 · The handle driftThe filename became a person.

The earliest recoverable trace of the image carries a Polish filename — ciepla_twarz.jpg, warm face. Reposts get renamed by the software that handles them. Descriptive names come from whoever saved the file first.

Three identities persist across the mirrors. The third is the pivot: the first non-meme handle in the chain, the kind of name people use once they stop needing a persona.

03 · 16 December 2009Two days before the first appearance.

This is the date the internet agrees on, and where every account of Wojak’s origin stops. The archive does not stop there.

Recovered username-change history puts an account posting on 14 December — two days earlier — that later renames to mk668, and then to mkaczmarek89. The suffix never changes. That is the join between the meme and the man.

04 · Chain of custodyThree chains, one hand.

He entered an airdrop, did not receive it, and posted his own receiving address in public to ask whether he had done it right. People do not post a wallet they mean to keep private.

From there it is ordinary tracing, and it terminates on Solana.

05 · The subjectMichał Kaczmarek.

Polish. Five handles across sixteen years, ending in one that looks like a name because it is one.

He never signed it. He never claimed it. The face he drew is on everything, and he is the only person it never made a cent for.

Everything the chapters skipped.

  1. A

    The filename · Load-bearing

It was saved before it was posted.

The earliest recoverable trace of the image in this reconstruction does not carry a board-assigned name. It carries a Polish one: ciepla_twarz.jpg — *warm face*.

  2. B

    Handle drift · Load-bearing

    The filename became a person.

On one partial mirror the image is attached to an anonymous poster whose local attachment naming pattern matches ciepla_twarz. On later mirror fragments a user begins appearing under that exact string as a handle.

  3. C

    16 December 2009 · Supporting

    The appearance everybody cites.

This is the date the internet agrees on: Wojak surfaces on Krautchan, posted by a user calling himself Wojak. Every origin story stops here, because this is where the trail is supposed to go cold.

  4. D

    The rename chain · Load-bearing

Two days before the first appearance.

Archived username-change history recovered from the 4archive CDN gives the chain a spine.

  5. E

    Attribution · Supporting

    Kaczmarek is a surname.

Kaczmarek is one of the most common surnames in Poland — on its own it is nothing. Cross-referenced against archived Reddit activity for the same handle cluster, it resolves into a given name.

  6. F

    The crossover · Circumstantial

He posted a wallet to ask a question.

If the artist had a crypto footprint, it would be on the Bitcoin forums that mattered between 2009 and 2014. pineapple668 appears in thirty-plus threads on Bitcointalk.

How sure is any of this?

Graded the way an intelligence product grades itself, because a reconstruction that claims certainty everywhere is worth less than one that says where it’s thin.

  • HIGH

    The handle chain (ciepla_twarz → pineapple668 → mkaczmarek89)

Multiple independent mirrors, consistent numeric suffix, dated rename records.

  • HIGH

The filename predates the Krautchan appearance

Descriptive Polish filename with no upstream repost residue.

  • MODERATE

    Attribution to a named individual

The surname is extremely common. The identification rests on handle overlap, not on documents.

  • MODERATE

The wallet belongs to the same person

Self-published address on a forum account in the chain. Roughly 90% by the original investigator’s own estimate.

  • UNPROVEN

    That person drew the image

He never claimed it. Nothing in the record is a confession. This is inference from position in the chain.
